Job Summary:
Chef Ali is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of meats, seasoning them according to Chef Ali’s signature recipes, and ensuring that all products are packed and labeled accurately. This role requires attention to hygiene standards, precision in following recipes, and efficiency in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and handle various types of meats, including marinating and seasoning, following Chef Ali’s specific guidelines.
- Ensure that all seasoning and marinating processes are executed accurately and consistently.
- Properly package marinated and seasoned meats, ensuring all safety and hygiene regulations are followed.
- Label packaged products with the correct information, including ingredients, expiration dates, and any necessary product details.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in the kitchen and packing area.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw meats, seasonings, and packaging supplies.
- Assist with quality control checks to ensure that all products meet Chef Ali’s high standards.
- Follow kitchen safety protocols and food safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Prior experience working in a kitchen or food preparation environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with meat handling, marinating, and seasoning techniques.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate labeling and packing.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle food products safely.
- Food Handler Certificate is a must.
