Job Summary:

The Operations Supervisor at Chef Ali Inc. will oversee the daily operations of the business, including supplier management, quality control, finance, customer relations, and overall operational efficiency. The role requires excellent office skills, proficiency with cloud-based platforms such as Google Sheets and Google Docs, and a food handler certificate.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Management:

  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and high-quality product deliveries.
  • Maintain strong relationships and negotiate contracts.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure all products meet Chef Ali’s standards.
  • Implement quality control processes across departments.

Bank & Finance Management:

  • Oversee banking, manage budgets, and ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Track financial transactions and report on operational costs.

Stock Control & Inventory Management:

  • Manage stock levels to ensure optimal inventory and reduce waste.
  • Maintain detailed inventory records using digital tools.

Retail & Online Store Management:

  • Supervise retail store operations and online order processing.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and fulfillment of orders.

Procurement & Shopping:

  • Oversee cost-effective procurement processes.
  • Source materials and products while managing vendor relations.

Customer Service & Communication:

  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly.
  • Ensure all customer orders, both in-store and online, are completed on time.

Office Skills & Cloud Platform Proficiency:

  • Use office software and cloud apps such as Google Sheets, Google Docs, and similar platforms for operations tracking and reporting.
  • Maintain documentation and streamline processes using digital tools.

Food Handler Certificate:

  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations by maintaining an active food handler certificate.

General Operations Oversight:

  • Ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day business operations.
  • Assist in strategy development for improving operational efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the food industry.
  • Proficiency in office software and cloud-based apps (Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.).
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Food handler certificate required.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: Commission based on production rate range between $2,000 – $9,500
